The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Melo made a kick off. During the 56th minute of the match Saúl Freire completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Saúl Freire a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Taboaco FC booed when Spartak de Alcabideche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saúl Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alcino Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Pinho's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, Spartak de Alcabideche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Pinto to maneuver through the defense. Diogo Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Alcino Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taboaco FC. 89 minutes into the match, Diogo Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alcino Barbosa. Spartak de Alcabideche's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diogo Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Alcino Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Pinho in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Taboaco FC's Paulo Pinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alcino Barbosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.
