After a rather tough play, SC Unhais da Serra's Miguel Lima got a free kick in the 6th minute. The supporters of SC Unhais da Serra booed when Tuga Vermelho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Marcelo Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tuga Vermelho's Eliseu Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Miguel Lima fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Unhais da Serra's protests and gave Miguel Lima a yellow card for diving instead. Marcelo Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Eliseu Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Eiró kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Adolfo Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Marcelo Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Tuga Vermelho's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Fonseca came free, but Eliseu Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hugo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseu Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Fonseca in the 41st minute of play. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Hugo Ramos sped through Tuga Vermelho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliseu Neves.

The wind increased when Hugo Ramos made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Hugo Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Unhais da Serra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 minutes, António Eiró mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tuga Vermelho and the SC Unhais da Serra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristóvão Gomes's late challenge caught a Tuga Vermelho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristóvão Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Unhais da Serra's Cristóvão Gomes got a free kick in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Germano Lima during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, SC Unhais da Serra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabino Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Januário Lisboa shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 69 minutes into the game, Abel Sequeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Adolfo Domingues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hugo Ramos took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseu Neves. Eliseu Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 79 minutes into the game, Tuga Vermelho's Eurico Teles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adolfo Domingues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Hugo Ramos took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Eliseu Neves to make any attempt to save it. Marcelo Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
