Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 4thth minute of the game Moisés Varanda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Azeiteiros FC's António Pinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eusébio Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moisés Varanda in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Pinho saved Azeiteiros FC from getting behind. Hélio Caetano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Ribeiro in the 13th minute of play. If Moisés Varanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Eusébio Ribeiro rounded FC Vila Nova's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Hipólito Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. António Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moisés Varanda in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Pinho saved Azeiteiros FC from getting behind. António Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Caldas in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusébio Ribeiro was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moisés Varanda in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck António Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Hipólito Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, FC Vila Nova's goal looked a bit too open when Vasco Amaro came free, but Hélio Caetano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Caldas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélio Caetano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Ribeiro in the 72nd minute of play. António Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Varanda in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute Eusébio Caldas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 79 in the game by Moisés Varanda from a close distance when the talented António Pinho managed to make a qualified save. Azeiteiros FC's players were relieved. Eusébio Ribeiro succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Moisés Varanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Pinho having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Azeiteiros FC could leave the field as winners, despite FC Vila Nova having more of the ball for most of the match.
