Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jordão Sobral got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Joaquim Lages mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conquistadores FC and the Barrocas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Germano Prates took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mário Festas. Mário Festas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adelino Saraiva during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Conquistadores FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Adelino Saraiva hit a great ball. If Raul Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdemar Trigueiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdemar Trigueiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mário Festas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdemar Trigueiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Anselmo Sardinha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordão Sobral in the 26th minute of the match. After 26 minutes of play Conquistadores FC's Adelino Saraiva was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Adelino Saraiva hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Valdemar Trigueiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Raul Barros came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Barrocas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Barros couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Conquistadores FC's Eurico Souto got a free kick in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Conquistadores FC's zone, Severino Caeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Sardinha came out of the goal and Severino Caeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Valdemar Trigueiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdemar Trigueiro to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Conquistadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Barros came free, but Anselmo Sardinha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fabiano Casado fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrocas FC's protests and gave Fabiano Casado a yellow card for diving instead. Valdemar Trigueiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Festas having to interfere. Conquistadores FC's Anselmo Sardinha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Barros in the 76th minute of play. Raul Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Anselmo Sardinha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Conquistadores FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
