Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Saúl Leitão started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saúl Leitão in the 7th minute of play forced Milhafres AZ's goalkeeper Jairo Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Moisés Lameiras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milhafres AZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Lameiras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordão Bernardes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Bettencourt hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Angelo Bettencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jairo Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Moisés Lameiras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milhafres AZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Lameiras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordão Bernardes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jordão Bernardes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amílcar Belém's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. António Pires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jairo Alvarenga made a huge save. Moisés Lameiras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordão Bernardes having to interfere. António Pires was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jairo Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saúl Leitão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Amílcar Belém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordão Bernardes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moisés Lameiras to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game António Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milhafres AZ's Jairo Alvarenga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Milhafres AZ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Silvestre Diegues hit a great ball. António Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jairo Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jordão Bernardes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Lameiras, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Jairo Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saúl Leitão in the 69th minute of play. Amílcar Belém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Milhafres AZ's goal looked a bit too open when António Pires came free, but Jairo Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jordão Bernardes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amílcar Belém went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ilídio Madeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordão Bernardes having to interfere. António Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jairo Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saúl Leitão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Alvarenga having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Milhafres AZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
