Benedito Menezes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Bulhosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Mota went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 9 minutes into the match, Vítor Mota had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquim Bulhosa. A.P. ALCANHOES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vítor Mota was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 17th minute, Benedito Menezes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Bulhosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When A.P. ALCANHOES's Benedito Menezes in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Vítor Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Benedito Menezes sped through Pedreneiras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gabriel Paiva. A.P. ALCANHOES's Joaquim Bulhosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Resende in the 43rd minute of play. Mariano Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The A.P. ALCANHOES players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pedreneiras were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vítor Mota stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Benedito Menezes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.P. ALCANHOES and the Pedreneiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes A.P. ALCANHOES got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Menezes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedito Menezes in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Paiva saved Pedreneiras from getting behind. Carlos Magalhães's late challenge caught a A.P. ALCANHOES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pedreneiras getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Carlos Magalhães hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, A.P. ALCANHOES's Alexandre Santos got a free kick in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, A.P. ALCANHOES's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Magalhães came free, but Joaquim Bulhosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavier Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 67 minutes, Alexandre Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.P. ALCANHOES and the Pedreneiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 69th minute, but Joaquim Bulhosa got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving A.P. ALCANHOES hanging dry this time. Joaquim Bulhosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Mota in the 71st minute of play. Albertino Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zarco Chagas hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute Vítor Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Bulhosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to A.P. ALCANHOES getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Diogo Carreira hit a great ball. Vítor Mota struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Joaquim Bulhosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pedreneiras. When Benedito Menezes came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the A.P. ALCANHOES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedito Menezes couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Vítor Mota took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Joaquim Bulhosa to make any attempt to save it. Chants of Pedreneiras echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as A.P. ALCANHOES had held the ball for most of the match.
