Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lisandro Medeiros made the kick off and thus started the match. When Tiago Zambujal came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the SL MOTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Zambujal couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, SL MOTA's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Ferreira came free, but Ivo Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SL MOTA's Frederico Bessa got a free kick in the 15th minute. SL MOTA's Diogo Aragão couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Carocedo FC. Lisandro Medeiros took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Araújo. Gabriel Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bruno Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd match minute, SL MOTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Tristão to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Veloso having to interfere. Humberto Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Baptista might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivo Veloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Baptista ran back to his position shaking his head. SL MOTA's Lisandro Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bruno Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Ferreira was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Ferreira in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivo Veloso saved SL MOTA from getting behind. Ivo Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Tobias Vale fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SL MOTA's protests and gave Tobias Vale a yellow card for diving instead. Bruno Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ivo Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carocedo FC. Ivo Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ivo Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Baptista in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Carocedo FC's Humberto Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivo Veloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivo Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Araújo made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Tiago Zambujal sent off a good shot on target. Diamantino Henriques hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Bruno Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes SL MOTA got a freekick which was hit by Angélico Pedroso. If Bruno Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Veloso having to interfere. With 81 minutes on the clock, Pedro Viegas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 80 minutes into the game, one of Carocedo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Carocedo FC's zone, Tobias Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Araújo came out of the goal and Tobias Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Lisandro Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. SL MOTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Medeiros in the 96th minute of play forced Carocedo FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Lisandro Medeiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Araújo was relentless in the 98th minute of the game.
