Gaspar Lima's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Severino lacerda firmly grabbed it by the left post. Severino lacerda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveira Oliveira in the 12th minute of the match. Mieszko Kazimierz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severino lacerda came out and tried to block the shot, but Mieszko Kazimierz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute Domingos Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes, Hermano Rebelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Copeira and the Ribeiro Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Copeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermano Rebelo to maneuver through the defense. When Mieszko Kazimierz came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ribeiro Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mieszko Kazimierz couldn't finish the play. Bento Viana hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermano Rebelo in the 27th minute of play forced Ribeiro Team's goalkeeper Álvaro Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Gaspar Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severino lacerda was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Copeira's Severino lacerda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Andrade in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Ribeiro Team's Gaspar Lima made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino lacerda was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute Domingos Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabino Rico was the one to do the kick off. Álvaro Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th match minute, Ribeiro Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bento Leão to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Mieszko Kazimierz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabino Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute Mieszko Kazimierz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino lacerda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermano Rebelo got free with Álvaro Almeida in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Domingos Brito fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copeira's protests and gave Domingos Brito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Copeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Brito to maneuver through the defense. In the 80thth minute of the game Gabino Rico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Copeira's Severino lacerda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabino Rico charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabino Rico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ribeiro Team's Gabino Rico got a free kick in the 81st minute. Gabino Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabino Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino lacerda having to interfere. Ribeiro Team were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Copeira for a fine match.
