Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fernando Baptista got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Erubiel Gorri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erubiel Gorri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rainha do Gusmão's Gaspare Vonlanthen in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mendigos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Erubiel Gorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rainha do Gusmão's Jorge Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Baptista in the 20th minute of play. Rainha do Gusmão's Jorge Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Rainha do Gusmão from getting a goal against them. In the 27th match minute, Mendigos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Castro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Baptista in the 34th minute of play forced Rainha do Gusmão's goalkeeper Jorge Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Silva came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Rainha do Gusmão's Gaspare Vonlanthen. But to his dismay, Gaspare Vonlanthen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Mendigos FC booed when Rainha do Gusmão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dércio Borba didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspare Vonlanthen to make the kick off. Abel Gueifão kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55thth minute of the game Gaspare Vonlanthen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mendigos FC's Paulo Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Silva was a little too slow when Gaspare Vonlanthen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. After having played for 61 minutes, Gustavo Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mendigos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erubiel Gorri scored 0-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustavo Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Gustavo Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspare Vonlanthen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, Mendigos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Rainha do Gusmão booed when Mendigos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Gaspare Vonlanthen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mendigos FC's Paulo Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Mendigos FC from getting a goal against them. Fernando Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jorge Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Rainha do Gusmão left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mendigos FC.
