Quintino Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Macieira in the 4th minute of the match. After some careless play in the SC Pafarrao defense, Hermano Laureano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Modesto. The SC Pafarrao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Modesto should have stopped the shot. Enzo Modesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Castanheira in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Hermano Laureano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enzo Modesto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 14th minute, Hermano Laureano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Pafarrao's Filinto Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Filinto Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quintino Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filinto Souto in the 28th minute of play forced Belenenses's goalkeeper Quintino Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Salvador Castanheira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Macieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Quintino Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Castanheira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Belenenses defense, Honorato Macieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quintino Varela. The Belenenses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quintino Varela should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Honorato Macieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Castanheira made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Hermano Laureano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belenenses's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermano Laureano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Modesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Pafarrao's Enzo Modesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermano Laureano in the 56th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Hermano Laureano made a precise shot to the right of Enzo Modesto. SC Pafarrao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After 59 played minutes Belenenses got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Castanheira. Filinto Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintino Varela having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cândido Moutinho during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Belenenses getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cândido Moutinho hit a great ball. Honorato Macieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimundo Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Filinto Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermano Laureano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Modesto having to interfere. After 86 played minutes SC Pafarrao got a freekick which was hit by Luís Esteves. After 88 played minutes Belenenses got a freekick which was hit by Cândido Moutinho. During the 90th minute of the match Cândido Moutinho completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cândido Moutinho a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Belenenses's Cândido Moutinho got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Luís Esteves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quintino Varela showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Honorato Macieira struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Quintino Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pafarrao.
