Honorato Macieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Luís Veríssimo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Campelo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Filinto Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Pafarrao getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cassiano Belo hit a great ball. If Honorato Macieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filinto Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedito Fidalgo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Enzo Modesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedito Ponte kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filinto Souto made a kick off. SC Cruz's Luís Veríssimo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save SC Cruz from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filinto Souto in the 63rd minute of play forced SC Cruz's goalkeeper Luís Veríssimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Cruz's goalkeeper Luís Veríssimo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to SC Cruz getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Diogo Caneira hit a great ball. Honorato Macieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Veríssimo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Filinto Souto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 79 minute of play. After some careless play in the SC Pafarrao defense, Benedito Fidalgo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Modesto. The SC Pafarrao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Modesto should have stopped the shot. Honorato Macieira might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Veríssimo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorato Macieira ran back to his position shaking his head. Luís Veríssimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filinto Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Benedito Fidalgo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cruz's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedito Fidalgo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Modesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Pafarrao's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
