Myles Samuels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Renato Vilas Boas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myles Samuels, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Sílvio Aleixo fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Tougues's protests and gave Sílvio Aleixo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Sílvio Aleixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Myles Samuels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Vilas Boas having to interfere. Renato Vilas Boas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Almeida in the 20th minute of play. SC Tougues's Renato Vilas Boas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pinho in the 25th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Sílvio Aleixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Myles Samuels scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renato Vilas Boas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Aparício Lameiras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chiquinho Zilles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Myles Samuels came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the AGUIA DE AZEITAO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Myles Samuels couldn't finish the play. Dirk-Jan Hesp kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, AGUIA DE AZEITAO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Myles Samuels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chiquinho Zilles was the one to do the kick off. João Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute Myles Samuels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Vilas Boas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Chiquinho Zilles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, AGUIA DE AZEITAO's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Figueiredo came free, but Adolfo Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Tougues's Normando Júdice got a free kick in the 60th minute. Caetano Leiria's late challenge caught a AGUIA DE AZEITAO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caetano Leiria helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Tougues fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! The referee gave AGUIA DE AZEITAO a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by André Veiga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Tougues's Renato Vilas Boas. 0-3. João Pinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renato Vilas Boas having to make a save. After 98 played minutes SC Tougues got a freekick which was hit by Normando Júdice. When the final whistle sounded AGUIA DE AZEITAO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Tougues.
