After 4 minutes, Carlos Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Pinhete and the FUTEBOL.CLUBE.MARCELO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Pinhete's Carlos Sá got a free kick in the 4th minute. Marco Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. FUTEBOL.CLUBE.MARCELO's Marco Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Tavares in the 11th minute of play. When Paulo Moura fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FUTEBOL.CLUBE.MARCELO's protests and gave Paulo Moura a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Moura hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A collision led to FUTEBOL.CLUBE.MARCELO getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Diogo Campos hit a great ball. Marco Garcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Amaral in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Carlos Torres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Óscar Monteiro was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, FUTEBOL.CLUBE.MARCELO's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Tavares came free, but Marco Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Alexandre Nogueira from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Marco Garcia's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, FUTEBOL.CLUBE.MARCELO's Afonso Pacheco got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Marco Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes FUTEBOL.CLUBE.MARCELO got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Moniz. 30 minutes into the match, FUTEBOL.CLUBE.MARCELO's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Tavares came free, but Marco Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Marco Garcia made a huge save. In the 35thth minute of the game Albertino Paredes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Pinhete's Óscar Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Tavares in the 40th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Pinhete's João Araújo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marco Garcia. That made the score 1-0 after 44 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Albertino Paredes made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Carlos Sá cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marco Garcia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to FUTEBOL.CLUBE.MARCELO getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sérgio Pinho hit a great ball. Albertino Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertino Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Tavares in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pinhete's zone, Carlos Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Óscar Monteiro came out of the goal and Carlos Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basílio Tavares in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Diogo Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basílio Tavares in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SC Pinhete's Óscar Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Paredes in the 89th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Borges during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Basílio Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Garcia was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Marco Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Pinhete had won after a very even match.
