Hélder Bento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute Aparício Miguéis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Torres's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Isac Telinhos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Isac Telinhos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albertino Paredes's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Albertino Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FUTEBOL.CLUBE.MARCELO getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Paulo Moura hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Benicio Gamus put in a rough tackle. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for WIZARDS . Januário Fonseca stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marco Garcia. 0-1. In the 31st minute, Aparício Miguéis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WIZARDS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Nuno Lima hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FUTEBOL.CLUBE.MARCELO defense, Aparício Miguéis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Garcia. The FUTEBOL.CLUBE.MARCELO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Garcia should have stopped the shot. After 46 played minutes WIZARDS got a freekick which was hit by Aparício Miguéis. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Torres to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Isac Telinhos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Marco Garcia managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when WIZARDS 's Aparício Miguéis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Américo Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Garcia having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, FUTEBOL.CLUBE.MARCELO's goalkeeper Marco Garcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aparício Miguéis. Xavier Pereira tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Isac Telinhos. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-3 in the 66th minute. Carlos Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to WIZARDS getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Caio Lage hit a great ball. If Américo Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Monteiro in the 84th minute of play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind WIZARDS 's goalkeeper Isac Telinhos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
