Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Heitor Andrade kicked off to start the match. Heitor Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Tavares having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Heitor Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermínio Ferraz got free with Fábio Macedo in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafael Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Almeida in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Heitor Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Tavares. Covancas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heitor Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Canoa F.C.'s Armindo Jesus got a free kick in the 19th minute. Covancas's Rafael Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Andrade in the 21st minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Canoa F.C.'s André Almeida made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sandro Brandão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Macedo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heitor Andrade in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Tavares saved Covancas from getting behind. Heitor Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rafael Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Rui Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canoa F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Covancas's Rafael Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Andrade in the 42nd minute of play. Lisandro Rebocho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Fábio Macedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fábio Macedo made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Hermínio Ferraz sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandro Brandão to make the kick off. Fábio Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Ferraz in the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heitor Andrade in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Tavares saved Covancas from getting behind. When Gustavo Viana fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canoa F.C.'s protests and gave Gustavo Viana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, Canoa F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Viana to maneuver through the defense. Rui Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Sandro Brandão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Covancas's Rafael Tavares got control of the ball when Rui Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, André Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canoa F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Covancas the free kick.
