Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute Oliveira Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Barroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heitor Póvoas might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Ribeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heitor Póvoas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th match minute, Tanhel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Andrade to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Trindade in the 13th minute of play forced Tanhel FC's goalkeeper Manuel Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Tanhel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dércio Chagas came free, but Manuel Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Humberto Simões was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tanhel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Manadas the free kick. If Heitor Póvoas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dércio Chagas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Manuel Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Barroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveira Simões in the 23rd minute of the match. Oliveira Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Barroso having to interfere. After 27 minutes, Rui Laureano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Manadas and the Tanhel FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rui Laureano kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Manadas's Amável Leão got a free kick in the 30th minute. The long shot by Lúcio Vieira in the 31st minute really tested António Barroso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 35th match minute, SC Manadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sálvio Festas to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Lúcio Vieira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Manadas's António Barroso didn't even have to move. In the 39thth minute of the game Dércio Chagas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tanhel FC's Manuel Ribeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Tanhel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dércio Chagas came free, but Manuel Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. António Barroso was a little too slow when Oliveira Simões got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oliveira Simões was the one to do the kick off. Manuel Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Manadas's Heitor Póvoas. But to his dismay, Heitor Póvoas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Tanhel FC's zone, Heitor Póvoas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Ribeiro came out of the goal and Heitor Póvoas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. António Barroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Barroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, SC Manadas's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Simões came free, but António Barroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heitor Póvoas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Manuel Ribeiro made a huge save. Oliveira Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. António Barroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dércio Chagas in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Tanhel FC booed when SC Manadas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Barroso having to interfere.
