Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Saúl Portela kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Estrelas de Fânzeres's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Monteiro came free, but Márcio Festas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Pais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Miguel Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saúl Portela in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Antunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maurício Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Amadeu Viegas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Severiano Trigueiro charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severiano Trigueiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Estrelas de Fânzeres getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Severiano Trigueiro hit a great ball. Eduardo Amaral came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Márcio Festas could save by the left post. When Maurício Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estrelas de Fânzeres's protests and gave Maurício Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Estrelas de Fânzeres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Cardida FC's Eduardo Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandro Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saúl Portela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Antunes having to interfere. Julião Carvalho hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Monteiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Cardida FC's goalkeeper Miguel Antunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquilino Pais. Saúl Portela struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Miguel Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrelas de Fânzeres. After a defensive mix-up in Estrelas de Fânzeres's zone, Sandro Monteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márcio Festas came out of the goal and Sandro Monteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severiano Trigueiro hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Márcio Festas came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Cardida FC's Eduardo Amaral. But to his dismay, Eduardo Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Eduardo Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduardo Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Festas having to interfere. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Eduardo Amaral sped through Estrelas de Fânzeres's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Márcio Festas. 82 minutes into the match, Estrelas de Fânzeres's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Amaral came free, but Márcio Festas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cardida FC's Miguel Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saúl Portela in the 89th minute of play. Cardida FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
