Miguel Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filinto Azevedo in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Antunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute, Filinto Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Fábio Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filinto Azevedo in the 36th minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cardida FC's goalkeeper Miguel Antunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filinto Azevedo in the 78th minute of play forced Cardida FC's goalkeeper Miguel Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sandro Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the match, Eduardo Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olavo Junqueira. Cebolas e Vinho SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Máximo Valadão kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Paulo Lopes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olavo Junqueira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
