Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Durval Mourinho started the match with the kick off. Aristides Telinhos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of José Borba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. José Borba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Mourinho in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Freixial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Ferro to maneuver through the defense. Aristides Telinhos took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Borba. José Borba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. José Borba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristides Telinhos in the 20th minute. A collision led to Freixial FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Eusébio Azevedo hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Freixial FC's goalkeeper José Borba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Telinhos. Freixial FC's Carlos Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd match minute, Freixial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Henriques to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes Freixial FC got a freekick which was hit by Cândido Lisboa. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eusébio Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fábio Ferro during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fábio Ferro hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Carlos Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sálvio Sanches having to interfere. Carlos Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sálvio Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th match minute, Freixial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Ferro to maneuver through the defense. Freixial FC's Adolfo Setúbal was substituted for Cândido Lisboa. After 71 played minutes Freixial FC got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Ferro. After 73 played minutes Freixial FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Setúbal. José Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Telinhos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Telinhos in the 79th minute of play forced Freixial FC's goalkeeper José Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Mourinho in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, Boldrarias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aparício Morais to maneuver through the defense. Freixial FC made a substitution. Luís Queirós replaced Inácio Monteiro. Aparício Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. José Borba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Telinhos in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Durval Mourinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. José Borba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute, Carlos Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Freixial FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Freixial FC's Ricardo Simões got a free kick in the 96th minute. It was beautiful to see Boldrarias's Catarino Aveiro in action when he in the 98th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Boldrarias fans cheered their team off the field, for while Freixial FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
