Tomás Caeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viriato Lisboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Garcez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogério Garcez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Viriato Lisboa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paulo Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Viriato Lisboa made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Tomás Caeiro sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Pires hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Viriato Lisboa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Delfim Guerreiro. If Sérgio Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Francisco Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ribafeita FC's Delfim Guerreiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Guerreiro FC. José Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Andrade having to interfere. If José Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ribafeita FC's zone, Sérgio Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Andrade came out of the goal and Sérgio Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Andrade having to interfere. Vicente Andrade came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Guerreiro FC's Sérgio Dias. But to his dismay, Sérgio Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tomás Caeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viriato Lisboa having to make a save. In the 45th minute, José Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogério Garcez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Guerreiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Pires. Guerreiro FC's Viriato Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Garcez in the 53rd minute of play. Sérgio Dias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Ribafeita FC's Vicente Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Ribafeita FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ribafeita FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. André Baptista hit a great ball. When António Martins fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ribafeita FC's protests and gave António Martins a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Guerreiro FC booed when Ribafeita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Fabrício Monsanto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ribafeita FC's Vicente Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Ribafeita FC from getting a goal against them. If Sérgio Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Andrade made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when José Santos sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Dias in the 76th minute of play forced Ribafeita FC's goalkeeper Vicente Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Moreira hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, Tomás Caeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Viriato Lisboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Francisco Pires fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guerreiro FC's protests and gave Francisco Pires a yellow card for diving instead.
