Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Augusto Porto made the kick off which started today's match. Luís Vilalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Tavares in the 4th minute of play. Vasco Ferro's late challenge caught a Portomar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasco Ferro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Monfortinho FC's Vasco Ferro got a free kick in the 5th minute. José Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Joaquim Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Portomar's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Teixeira came free, but Luís Vilalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Vilalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Luís Vilalobos came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Monfortinho FC's Vítor Tavares. But to his dismay, Vítor Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 25th minute, Alípio Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Portomar's Luís Vilalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Porto in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Monfortinho FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Éder Corte-Real. In the 30th minute José Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Éder Corte-Real had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Tavares might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Vilalobos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vítor Tavares ran back to his position shaking his head. Portomar's José Leme got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when José Leme made the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Távora kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Portomar's zone, Vítor Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Vilalobos came out of the goal and Vítor Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Éder Corte-Real sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Joaquim Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Vilalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Augusto Porto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Vilalobos. Augusto Porto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 81st match minute, Monfortinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. After 84 minutes of play, Portomar's José Leme made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquim Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Vilalobos came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Monfortinho FC's Vítor Tavares. But to his dismay, Vítor Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Porto in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Vilalobos saved Portomar from getting behind. The Monfortinho FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
