Spectators: 0 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Leme took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luís Vilalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Musko in the 4th minute of play. After 6 played minutes SC Louzado got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Sousa. Artur Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 9 minutes SC Louzado's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Heitor Seixas who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Portomar's corner Heitor Seixas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Artur Perez quite easily take care of the ball. Luís Vilalobos was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Paolo Musko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paolo Musko really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to SC Louzado getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Rui Costa hit a great ball. Artur Perez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Éder Corte-Real went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 22 minutes, Alípio Henriques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portomar and the SC Louzado players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Portomar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alípio Henriques to maneuver through the defense. When Fábio Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Louzado's protests and gave Fábio Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. 28 minutes into the match, Portomar's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Musko came free, but Luís Vilalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Louzado's Paolo Musko got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélder Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Vilalobos having to interfere. When Alípio Henriques was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. In the 35th match minute, Portomar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alípio Henriques to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Portomar's Éder Corte-Real got a free kick in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Portomar's Rui Brás got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Portomar's Luís Vilalobos got control of the ball when Hélder Guerreiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Louzado's Paolo Musko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Vilalobos. That made the score 2-1 after 46 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

54 minutes into the match, José Leme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Perez. SC Louzado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Leme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Luís Vilalobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Guerreiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hélder Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artur Perez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Éder Corte-Real in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Louzado's zone, José Leme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Perez came out of the goal and José Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 minutes, Éder Corte-Real mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portomar and the SC Louzado players grew even worse after the yellow card. Éder Corte-Real hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Paolo Musko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Portomar booed when SC Louzado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
