Jacinto Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes, Ricardo Simões made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Farrapa FC's Afonso Araújo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Augusto Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Fioso FC's Jacinto Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Martins in the 34th minute of play. In the 39thth minute of the game Olavo Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fioso FC's Jacinto Pedroso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fioso FC's Jacinto Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Martins in the 40th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Farrapa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Queiroga to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some careless play in the Fioso FC defense, Olavo Martins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto Pedroso. The Fioso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Pedroso should have stopped the shot. When Norberto Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Farrapa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Galvão couldn't finish the play. Norberto Galvão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Pedroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Olavo Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacinto Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Queiroga in the 71st minute of play. Farrapa FC's Norberto Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olavo Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89thth minute of the game Olavo Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fioso FC's Jacinto Pedroso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Norberto Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Fioso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olavo Martins came free, but Jacinto Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Norberto Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Martins in the 95th minute of play forced Fioso FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
