Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Filipe Vaz got the match started through his kick off. Julião Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Joaquim Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquilino Estrela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filipe Ferro in the 5th minute. Basílio Lage's late challenge caught a Perofico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basílio Lage helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Basílio Lage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipe Vaz in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Estrela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Mestres FC's Julião Campos in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Perofico FC's goalie prevented a goal. Durval Carrasqueira scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquim Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Mestres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Vaz came free, but Aquilino Estrela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Avelar in the 18th minute of play. Durval Carrasqueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquim Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Aquilino Estrela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filipe Ferro went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Bernardo Pinto charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Pinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernardo Pinto hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Perofico FC's Joaquim Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Carrasqueira in the 45th minute of play. Mestres FC's Basílio Lage got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Basílio Lage off the ground. After a rather tough play, Mestres FC's Basílio Lage got a free kick in the 48th minute. In the 49th minute of the match Eusébio Ribeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquilino Estrela skillfully saved the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julião Campos made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Magalhães during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 55 minutes into the match, Mestres FC's Julião Campos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Filipe Ferro came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Perofico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Ferro couldn't finish the play. After having played for 62 minutes, Julião Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mestres FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julião Campos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Julião Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Ferro took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Estrela. Aquilino Estrela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Aquilino Estrela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Ferro in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Mestres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Pinhal to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute of the match Eusébio Ribeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquilino Estrela skillfully saved the ball. After 79 played minutes Mestres FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Durães. Filipe Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Vaz in the 85th minute of play forced Mestres FC's goalkeeper Aquilino Estrela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perofico FC's Filipe Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mestres FC's Aquilino Estrela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Vaz in the 98th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Perofico FC had played much better football throughout.
