In the 5th minute there was a penalty for SC Arnadelo. Daniel Ponte stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paulo Maltez. 0-1. Mauro Lobo charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Lobo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mauro Lobo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Soeiro in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Maltez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ACG Andrelecht's Paulo Maltez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Seixas in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Paulino Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Maltez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Sérgio Valadares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Arnadelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ACG Andrelecht the free kick. In the 37th minute, Bruno Seixas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Maltez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jesualdo Portugal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilson Cavaco made a kick off. Jorge Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesualdo Portugal in the 52nd minute of the match. If Wilson Cavaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Wilson Cavaco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Loureiro was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Wilson Cavaco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Loureiro having to make a save. When Jairo Fontoura fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Arnadelo's protests and gave Jairo Fontoura a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, one of SC Arnadelo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Arnadelo. Jesualdo Portugal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jorge Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Jesualdo Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Arnadelo's goalkeeper Jorge Loureiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulino Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarcísio Lameirinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Bruno Seixas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Paulo Maltez made a huge save. The ACG Andrelecht supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Arnadelo's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Arnadelo.
