Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonardo Pimenta kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, SC Caneiro's Simão Trindade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Neiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 8 played minutes SC Caneiro got a freekick which was hit by Amílcar Branco. If Paulo Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexandre Neiva came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Caneiro's Simão Trindade. But to his dismay, Simão Trindade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amílcar Branco during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Amílcar Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Rascoia's Alexandre Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Trindade in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simão Trindade in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Neiva saved SC Rascoia from getting behind. In the 24th match minute, SC Rascoia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Idalécio lago to maneuver through the defense. If Simão Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Simão Trindade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexandre Neiva was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. If Simão Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Frois blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Lisboa having to make a save. Daniel Lisboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Pimenta in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half SC Caneiro were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simão Trindade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Lisboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simão Trindade in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Neiva saved SC Rascoia from getting behind. In the 60th play minute Paulo Moniz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alexandre Neiva. 0-2. In the 67th match minute, SC Rascoia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Frois to maneuver through the defense. Idalécio lago charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Idalécio lago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Idalécio lago kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Cláudio Morais, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Rascoia's Idalécio lago got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 76 played minutes SC Caneiro got a freekick which was hit by Américo Vaz. After having played for 78 minutes, Simão Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Caneiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Trindade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Idalécio lago kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 81 minutes, Carlos Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Caneiro and the SC Rascoia players grew even worse after the yellow card. 91 minutes into the match, Simão Trindade dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexandre Neiva, 0-3. With a little luck, SC Rascoia's Alexandre Neiva got control of the ball when Paulo Moniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Trindade in the 96th minute of play forced SC Rascoia's goalkeeper Alexandre Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Caneiro's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
