Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cândido Garcia made the kick off and thus started the match. Xavier Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Resende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Hélio Raposo scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute Hélio Raposo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Valente hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Garcia in the 17th minute of play forced Ceiroquinho F C's goalkeeper Leandro Resende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélio Raposo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Montarroio getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Tomás Jesus hit a great ball. If Hélio Raposo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Ceiroquinho F C got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Guerra. After 31 played minutes, SC Montarroio's Alexandre Castro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leandro Resende came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Montarroio reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Hélio Raposo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceiroquinho F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélio Raposo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Xavier Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Montarroio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 44th minute of the match Hélder Palmeira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Andrade showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Maurício Candal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélio Raposo to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match André Assis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leandro Resende skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to SC Montarroio getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. André Barbosa hit a great ball. Jorge Andrade was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Duarte Vilhena. Maurício Candal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélio Raposo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jorge Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélio Raposo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Maurício Candal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Vilhena went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 77th match minute, SC Montarroio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Candal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Jorge Andrade when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Ceiroquinho F C's Hélio Raposo in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Montarroio's goalie prevented a goal. Jorge Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Guerra in the 81st minute of play. Jorge Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurício Candal in the 89th minute. Maurício Candal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Jorge Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
