Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hélio Raposo kicked off to start the match. Ceiroquinho F C's Leandro Resende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Mascarenhas in the 3rd minute of play. Jaime Malafaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Hélio Raposo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hélio Raposo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. João Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Raposo in the 19th minute of play. Hélio Raposo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. João Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceiroquinho F C's Hélio Raposo got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ceiroquinho F C's zone, Jaime Malafaia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Resende came out of the goal and Jaime Malafaia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gervásio Amaro fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lisboa e Águias's protests and gave Gervásio Amaro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lisboa e Águias getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gervásio Amaro hit a great ball. Lisandro Mascarenhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Jaime Malafaia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leandro Resende was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Lisandro Mascarenhas came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Lisboa e Águias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Mascarenhas couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Malafaia was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Ceiroquinho F C booed when Lisboa e Águias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervásio Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurício Candal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. João Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceiroquinho F C's Hélio Raposo pulled a muscle in his leg after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 63 minutes of play Lisboa e Águias's Gervásio Amaro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Lisboa e Águias's Gervásio Amaro got a free kick in the 64th minute. Lisandro Mascarenhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caio Freitas's late challenge caught a Lisboa e Águias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caio Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ceiroquinho F C getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Caio Freitas hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Lisandro Mascarenhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lisboa e Águias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Mascarenhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ceiroquinho F C getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Maurício Candal hit a great ball. A well done corner resulted in Nélson Caiado drilling the ball in to score 0-3 behind Ceiroquinho F C's goalkeeper. With his leg Leandro Resende managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Lisboa e Águias's Lisandro Mascarenhas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 86th minute of the match, Lisandro Mascarenhas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leandro Resende was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lisboa e Águias walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
