The wind increased when Gusmão Álvares made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Gusmão Álvares rounded Caratao FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After 58 minutes, Samuel Sacadura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico da Tasca FC and the Caratao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, one of Atletico da Tasca FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletico da Tasca FC. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Caratao FC. Eusébio Martins stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zeferino Cordeiro. 2-1. Zeferino Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Faria in the 69th minute of the match. The Caratao FC fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Caratao FC's Gil Lopes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gusmão Álvares in the 90th minute of play forced Caratao FC's goalkeeper Lourenço Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeferino Cordeiro having to interfere. In the 98th minute Adolfo Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeferino Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Caratao FC had played much better football throughout.
