After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Gil Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caratao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lourenço Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Pacheco in the 19th minute of play. Gil Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Correia having to interfere. Gil Lopes struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Daniel Correia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caratao FC. When Lúcio Trindade fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redemouro FC's protests and gave Lúcio Trindade a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Redemouro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Trindade to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Gil Lopes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Correia was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gil Lopes to make the kick off. Gil Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. When Gil Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Caratao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Lopes couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Lopes scored 2-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Correia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 90 minutes of play, Caratao FC's Gil Lopes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Faria in the 96th minute of play forced Redemouro FC's goalkeeper Daniel Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
