Cristiano Lima was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Óscar Martins showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Duarte Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Cristiano Lima was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Óscar Martins capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Óscar Martins really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Cristiano Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Óscar Martins in the 35th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Reis during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joel Moniz lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 43rd minute, Joel Moniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Afonso Pinto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fábio Maia skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aureliusz Sidorowicz made the kick off in the second half. Joel Bessa tried in the game's 52nd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Fábio Maia. An annoying self made goal, 2-1. In the 58th match minute, SC Boavista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Bessa to maneuver through the defense. After 63 minutes of play, SC Boavista's Óscar Martins made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristiano Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viriato Viegas charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viriato Viegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Viriato Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Aureliusz Sidorowicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fábio Maia. Aureliusz Sidorowicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Aureliusz Sidorowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fábio Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If David Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Boavista walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
