Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emílio Brito started the match with the kick off. When Quintino Sabrosa came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Vermil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintino Sabrosa couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Adriano Coimbra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Márcio Santarém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Veiga in the 10th minute of the match. If Armando Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márcio Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 19th match minute, Vermil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintino Sabrosa to maneuver through the defense. If Armando Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armando Veiga struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Márcio Santarém didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabeca FC. Lucílio Festas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Domingos Rodrigues when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

After 52 played minutes Cabeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Vieira. If Lucílio Festas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucílio Festas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Domingos Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafim Matos hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Armando Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Márcio Santarém made a huge save. After 67 minutes, Noel Teves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vermil and the Cabeca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Vermil defense, Pedro Pacheco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Márcio Santarém. The Vermil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Márcio Santarém should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute of the match Afonso Costa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Márcio Santarém showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emílio Brito succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Emílio Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Santarém having to interfere. Emílio Brito was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Armando Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Márcio Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Brito in the 89th minute of play. Cabeca FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
