Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rogério Malheiro started the match with the kick off. Lucas Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Vicente Estrela's late challenge caught a Albardo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Estrela helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Cornes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Estrela to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Albardo FC's Paulo Castro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paulo Castro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Albardo FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paulo Castro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Albardo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Cornes FC. Sérgio Álvares stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manuel Sá. 0-1. When Cândido Henriques came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Albardo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cândido Henriques couldn't finish the play. Silvestre Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Sá having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Lopes got free with Filipe Brás in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cândido Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Filipe Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jonathan Otfelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Carvalhal, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Cândido Henriques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Vicente Carvalhal made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Sá. Albardo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cândido Henriques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cornes FC booed when Albardo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Estrela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Jonathan Otfelt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albardo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Otfelt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Brás came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Albardo FC's Cândido Henriques. But to his dismay, Cândido Henriques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 66th minute, Marco Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cândido Henriques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cândido Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Brás having to interfere. Filipe Brás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Lopes in the 75th minute of play. Manuel Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Carvalhal in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Lopes in the 83rd minute of play forced Cornes FC's goalkeeper Filipe Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Brás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Otfelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Cornes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cândido Henriques came free, but Filipe Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Albardo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Magalhães came free, but Manuel Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Sá came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Cornes FC's Marco Flores. But to his dismay, Marco Flores quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.
