Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Miguel Pinto kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute Herberto Caires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, SC Montachique's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Mourinho came free, but Mariano Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Manuel Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Montachique's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alexadre DC the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Montachique's Manuel Dias got a free kick in the 11th minute. Mariano Gaspar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Mourinho's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Eusébio Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Germano Ferrão made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusébio Veiga during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Miguel Pinto came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the SC Montachique fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Pinto couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, SC Montachique's Miguel Pinto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Germano Ferrão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Miguel Pinto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Germano Ferrão, passed just outside the right post. Herberto Caires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Mariano Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Amado Lisboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Mourinho to make the kick off. Manuel Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Ferrão having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, Alexadre DC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Braga to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Cruz in the 55th minute of play forced Alexadre DC's goalkeeper Germano Ferrão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Alexadre DC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Guarda. Germano Ferrão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Mariano Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Mourinho in the 62nd minute of the match. Miguel Pinto struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Germano Ferrão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Montachique. 74 minutes into the game, SC Montachique's Miguel Pinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germano Ferrão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. João Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Germano Ferrão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If João Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Manuel Dias was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. A collision led to SC Montachique getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Manuel Dias hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Alexadre DC were awarded a corner. Amável Gueifão went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Alexadre DC's corner Amável Gueifão fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mariano Gaspar quite easily take care of the ball. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alexadre DC's goalkeeper Germano Ferrão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
