A collision led to Alexadre DC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gonçalo Braga hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Ronaldo Vigário shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Germano Ferrão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Jacob Seixas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Germano Ferrão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kevin Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Kevin Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Preladas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 34 minutes into the match, Alexadre DC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Ruas came free, but Germano Ferrão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kevin Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Ruas charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidro Ruas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes SC Preladas got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Ruas. In the 46th match minute, SC Preladas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Sacadura to maneuver through the defense. Amável Gueifão, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidro Ruas to make the kick off. Kevin Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Germano Ferrão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germano Ferrão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Ruas in the 56th minute of play. Kevin Dantas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Germano Ferrão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. André Galvão hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ronaldo Vigário missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 65 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Germano Ferrão right hand side. When Igor Guarda fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alexadre DC's protests and gave Igor Guarda a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Alexadre DC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Guarda. 69 minutes into the game, Guilherme Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Preladas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alexadre DC the free kick. In the 69th minute, Guilherme Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amado Lisboa struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Eduardo Torcato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexadre DC. Raul Mourinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. SC Preladas's Eduardo Torcato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Mourinho in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Alexadre DC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Ruas came free, but Germano Ferrão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Amado Lisboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alexadre DC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Preladas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Alexadre DC's Amado Lisboa got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Isidro Ruas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexadre DC's Germano Ferrão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Alexadre DC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Preladas's Kevin Dantas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Germano Ferrão. That made the score 0-2 after 94 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Preladas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
