Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Vidigal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Silvério Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Vidigal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 9 minutes, Rodrigo Soares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabugal United and the Clube Slim Rooster players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sabugal United getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rodrigo Soares hit a great ball. Hermenegildo Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torcato Amaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Daniel Vidigal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermenegildo Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torcato Amaro in the 23rd minute of play. The long shot by Nivaldo Medeiros in the 25th minute really tested Hermenegildo Mendes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Danilo Lobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sabugal United! Daniel Vidigal charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Vidigal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Daniel Vidigal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Torcato Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Torcato Amaro made the kick off in the second half. Torcato Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Lobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Danilo Lobo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leandro Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torcato Amaro in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermenegildo Mendes saved Sabugal United from getting behind. Horácio Guarda hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 70th match minute, Sabugal United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipólito Faria to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celso Quinaz during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, one of Sabugal United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sabugal United. Fábio Fidalgo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Torcato Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermenegildo Mendes having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Danilo Lobo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hermenegildo Mendes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute, Danilo Lobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clube Slim Rooster's Dimas Palmeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Slim Rooster from getting a goal against them. Danilo Lobo took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermenegildo Mendes. Hermenegildo Mendes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 91st minute, Torcato Amaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Torcato Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Slim Rooster's supporters rose to their feet, but Torcato Amaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermenegildo Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sabugal United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Clube Slim Rooster.
