A wasted opportunity for Pedreiras. Samuel Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rui Conde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedorido's Rui Conde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Amaro in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Baltasar Valido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedorido's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pedreiras the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pedorido's Baltasar Valido got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Amaro in the 31st minute of play forced Pedorido's goalkeeper Rui Conde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Amaro made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pedreiras's zone, Sebastião França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Corte-Real came out of the goal and Sebastião França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 56 in the game by Graciano Fagundes from a close distance when the talented Rui Conde managed to make a qualified save. Pedorido's players were relieved. In the 59th minute Samuel Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Conde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Samuel Amaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rui Conde. In the 73rd minute Samuel Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Conde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Conde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Maciel in the 76th minute of the match. Samuel Amaro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd rose to their feet as Samuel Amaro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rui Conde. That made the score 0-4 in the 79 minute of play. Samuel Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Pedorido's goalkeeper Rui Conde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Graciano Fagundes. If Graciano Fagundes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Graciano Fagundes came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Pedreiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Graciano Fagundes couldn't finish the play.
