Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Conde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Conde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Madruga in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Madruga in the 38th minute of play forced Pedorido's goalkeeper Rui Conde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pedorido's Sebastião França got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pedorido's zone, Tobias Madruga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Conde came out of the goal and Tobias Madruga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The long shot by Jorge Branco in the 53rd minute really tested Rui Conde's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sebastião França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Liberato having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Pedorido's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Madruga came free, but Rui Conde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Rui Conde managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when SC Formigais's Valter Igrejas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rui Conde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Madruga, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The Pedorido fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Formigais were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
