Sílvio Serpa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Raul Rodrigues made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Alcofra FC's Cláudio Fontoura got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Fábio Noronha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Alcofra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Noronha came free, but Raul Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Toito FC's Fábio Noronha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Sílvio Serpa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egídio Severiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Pascoal Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascoal Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Éder Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egídio Severiano to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Alcofra FC's zone, Sílvio Serpa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Rodrigues came out of the goal and Sílvio Serpa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toito FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Egídio Severiano scored to the left of an out of position Pascoal Vieira, making the score, 1-1. Pascoal Vieira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egídio Severiano went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Raul Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Noronha, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Raimundo Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Alcofra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Severiano to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes Toito FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Curado. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Toito FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cândido Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Alcofra FC's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Egídio Severiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcofra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Egídio Severiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascoal Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Leonel Tristão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matias Camacho during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matias Camacho kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Éder Varela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute Sílvio Serpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Éder Varela came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Alcofra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Éder Varela couldn't finish the play. The Toito FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alcofra FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Alcofra FC.
