Rui Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Campos having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Raimon FC's goalkeeper Jaime Marinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duarte Carneiro. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
