Carlos Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Araújo in the 15th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, SC Pica's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Araújo came free, but Carlos Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Carrascais's Jorge Dias made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of SC Pica booed when Carrascais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Pedro Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Pica's goalkeeper Carlos Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Tavares in the 44th minute of the match. The SC Pica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carrascais were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Tavares to make the kick off. When Gustavo Tavares, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Pedro Macedo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Alexandre Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrascais's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Araújo in the 59th minute. If Gustavo Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Dias in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Macedo was relentless in the 75th minute of the game.
