Delfim Gentil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Teixeira in the 14th minute of play forced SC Mossanto's goalkeeper Delfim Gentil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Humberto Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rdth minute of the game Humberto Amorim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Mossanto's Delfim Gentil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. António Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severiano Osório in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Parteira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Moura came free, but António Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Osório recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Parteira FC's António Pereira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Parteira FC from getting a goal against them. Hélder Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Pereira having to interfere. SC Mossanto's Severiano Osório managed to work through Parteira FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Severiano Osório dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Hélder Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Parteira FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Emanuel Cabral hit a great ball. After the first half Parteira FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélder Moura was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to SC Mossanto getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Aldo Medeiros hit a great ball. António Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 62 minutes into the game, Afonso Pedroso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 77thth minute of the game Hélder Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parteira FC's António Pereira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Humberto Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
