Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pio Borbolla made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Cumiada FC booed when Rio Ave F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pio Borbolla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Afonso Antunes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ralf Alrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Afonso Antunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ralf Alrot. The goal made the score 1-0. Viriato Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Ferro having to interfere. Ralf Alrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Cardoso in the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of Cumiada FC booed when Rio Ave F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When Joaquim Pinto fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cumiada FC's protests and gave Joaquim Pinto a yellow card for diving instead. If Pio Borbolla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute Gonçalo Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Alrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Rio Ave F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Pinto hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cumiada FC's Alexandre Castro got a free kick in the 87th minute. Cumiada FC's Vicente Ferro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Cumiada FC from getting a goal against them. Rio Ave F.C's Ralf Alrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Cunha in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match Paulo Lisboa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ralf Alrot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ralf Alrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Antunes in the 97th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Cumiada FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
