Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Afonso Antunes started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Antunes in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Ponte saved FC Porto from getting behind. The Cumiada FC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Cumiada FC's Gonçalo Cunha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Afonso Antunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Ponte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso Antunes ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gonçalo Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Porto getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Marcos Dantas hit a great ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Gonçalo Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cumiada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Joaquim Bulhosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Luís Ponte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gonçalo Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Antunes in the 30th minute of play forced FC Porto's goalkeeper Luís Ponte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cumiada FC's Vicente Ferro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Cumiada FC from getting a goal against them. In the 39thth minute of the game Gonçalo Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Porto's Luís Ponte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Cumiada FC's Vicente Ferro got control of the ball when Joaquim Bulhosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gonçalo Cunha struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Luís Ponte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cumiada FC. Joaquim Bulhosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Ferro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 56th minute, FC Porto's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gonçalo Cunha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of FC Porto booed when Cumiada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Ferro having to interfere. Luís Ponte made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Gonçalo Cunha sent off a good shot on target. Gonçalo Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Ponte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Antunes in the 86th minute of the match. When Aldo Junqueira came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FC Porto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Junqueira couldn't finish the play. FC Porto's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Afonso Antunes scored to the left of an out of position Luís Ponte, making the score, 0-2. The Cumiada FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
