Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Pestana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-0 became the score in the 6th minute when Carlos Pestana elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Carlos Pestana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jorge Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Januário Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Januário Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Covelos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Januário Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Januário Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jorge Cabral made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Albertino Taveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casalinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Taveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belchior Regalado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Januário Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Pestana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Cabral having to interfere. Jorge Cabral was a little too slow when Idalécio Salgado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-0. Idalécio Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Jorge Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Pestana in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Januário Magalhães notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Casalinho's Jorge Cabral. Jorge Cabral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Pestana to make the kick off. Casalinho's Jorge Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Pestana in the 54th minute of play. Carlos Pestana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Januário Magalhães's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Carlos Pestana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Cabral having to interfere. Carlos Pestana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
