Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teófilo Pádua got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute, Pedro Gaspar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of SC Cabriteira booed when CD Ariosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Cabriteira's Tiago Reis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CD Ariosa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Altino Caldeira during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to CD Ariosa getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Altino Caldeira hit a great ball. Luís Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cabriteira's zone, Enzo Baião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Borges came out of the goal and Enzo Baião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Tiago Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teófilo Pádua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Daniel Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mário Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Cabriteira's protests and gave Mário Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Enzo Baião managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Ariosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Baião was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Gaspar to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Enzo Baião made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Cabriteira's Daniel Borges tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cabriteira's zone, Teófilo Pádua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Borges came out of the goal and Teófilo Pádua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enzo Baião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timóteo Soares having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Gaspar in the 74th minute of play forced CD Ariosa's goalkeeper Timóteo Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timóteo Soares having to interfere. André Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79th play minutes Pedro Gaspar shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Timóteo Soares and just under the crossbar into goal. SC Cabriteira's Pedro Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Cabriteira fans cheered their team off the field, for while CD Ariosa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
