Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gil Anjos started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cerradas's zone, Armando Leiria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Perdigão came out of the goal and Armando Leiria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Anjos in the 6th minute of play forced Cerradas's goalkeeper Nuno Perdigão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When SC Regoa's Armando Leiria in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cerradas's goalie prevented a goal. 10 minutes into the match, SC Regoa's Gil Anjos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Perdigão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armando Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Nuno Perdigão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Cerradas's Mateus Carreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonso Monteiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cerradas's Mateus Carreira got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alcides Lucena hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, SC Regoa's goal looked a bit too open when Mateus Carreira came free, but Afonso Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Armando Leiria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cerradas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Amadeu Antunes shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With an all-out effort, Cerradas's Afonso Monteiro threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mateus Carreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 47 minutes into the match, Cerradas's Lourenço Gueifão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonso Monteiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mateus Carreira to make the kick off. Amadeu Lemos charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeu Lemos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 58 minutes into the match, Cerradas's Lourenço Gueifão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonso Monteiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cerradas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gil Anjos 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Carreira in the 65th minute of play forced SC Regoa's goalkeeper Afonso Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Amadeu Lemos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Perdigão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Anjos in the 69th minute of the match. Mateus Carreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeu Lemos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Cerradas's Nuno Perdigão got control of the ball when Armando Leiria tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Rui Veiga fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Regoa's protests and gave Rui Veiga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cerradas booed when SC Regoa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Perdigão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Leiria in the 93rd minute. Mateus Carreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Regoa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
