Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nuno Aguiar started the match with the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Basílio Nascimento successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Basílio Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Henrique Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Borges in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Amaral saved SC Taboaco from getting behind. In the 18th minute Vítor Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basílio Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Esteves in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Nuno Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vítor Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Borges in the 32nd minute of play forced SC Taboaco's goalkeeper Gaspar Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Basílio Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes SC Taboaco got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Ferro. When Henrique Borges came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Cavalo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Borges couldn't finish the play. Albertino Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vítor Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Cavalo's Nuno Aguiar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gaspar Amaral. Gaspar Amaral yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Taboaco! In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Cavalo. Artur Andrade stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gaspar Amaral. 0-2. In the 59th minute Nuno Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 62 in the game by Henrique Borges from a close distance when the talented Gaspar Amaral managed to make a qualified save. SC Taboaco's players were relieved. Basílio Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Costa in the 73rd minute of the match. When Vítor Costa came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the SC Taboaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Costa couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Ferreira during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. António Ferreira hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Costa in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basílio Nascimento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vítor Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 98th match minute, SC Taboaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Costa to maneuver through the defense.
