The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Viana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Fernando Viana came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Fareja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Viana couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Jorge Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Baptista in the 60th minute of play. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Fernando Viana sped through SC Nisa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emanuel Carneiro. After 67 played minutes Fareja got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Correia. Graciano Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Morais was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Fareja getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Pedro Morais hit a great ball. Amadeu Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. When Lázaro Mafra fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Nisa's protests and gave Lázaro Mafra a yellow card for diving instead. Amadeu Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Emanuel Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Fareja's Daniel Correia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Carneiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fareja's Amadeu Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Toscano hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Afonso Assunção, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
