In the 23rd minute, Jaime Lopes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Levide FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to SC Nordeste getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Dário Portugal hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Normando Araújo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes, SC Nordeste's Alex Miranda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodrigo Antunes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Nordeste reached it. In the 60th minute, Alfredo Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute Normando Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Guerreiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éder Festas in the 93rd minute of play. If Normando Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Éder Festas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Nordeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Éder Festas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Levide FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Nordeste throughout the match.
